Bring a towel and bring a refillable water bottle to keep you hydrated. Leave valuables at home or locked safely out of sight in your car.
For any Fiore Mama childbirth classes such as our (You've got to) Move it class and Labour Prep classes, please bring an appropriate sized and inflated Fit Ball (aka birth ball). You can buy these from various suppliers, even at K Mart. We do have a hand pump available in clinic, but it'll save time to have one ready to go. Also bring a pillow with a pillow case. We have knee pads in clinic. We will supply you with an informative booklet with space for notes. Bring a refillable water bottle to keep you hydrated. Snacks will be available. Should you need lunch, there are a number of close by cafe's and food retailers for purchasing food. We have limited refrigeration, but you are welcome to bring your own meal.
What should I wear to my massage/ yoga class?
Wear comfortable, breathable clothing. Yoga pants are great or any workout clothes will do! We follow strict draping policies set by our association, Massage and Myotherpay Australia. You may also have some residue of massage medium on your skin after a massage and please be aware that sometimes we can't avoid getting coconut oil or massage medium on clothing, especially underwear,we are used to laundering massage linen, so we have a few tips if this happens to you.
Should I eat before my massage/class?
It's best to eat after class or a minimum of two hours before to leave time to digest and feel comfortable in class. Need a pick me up before class? Try a handful of nuts or a piece of fruit- keep it light and simple.
What about water?
Bring a water bottle with you. In an effort to reduce waste, we do not offer disposable plastic water bottles but we do provide filtered hot and cold water.

If your booking is after 5pm, please use the Victoria Street entrance. Please allow a little extra time to park and make it into your booking, especially if you are new to the area and especially during peak traffic times such as school drop-off and pick-up times. I've never done yoga before /I've never had a massage before /I'm a first time mum, where do I start?
Just ask us! If you'd like to discuss anything prior to booking and trying a class, just contact us. A good way to do this is by booking a Fiore Body Meet & Greet. It's free of charge and we can discuss any concerns and explore any questions you have - and we'll have tea!
What if I have an injury or medical condition?
Any bodywork is a healing practice but should only be done at the appropriate time in your recovery process. Please check with your doctor before you begin yoga and inform us of any physical limitations. You are required to update Fiore Body if there are any changes to your health which may impact on any bodywork.
Is it safe to have a massage/do yoga when I'm pregnant?
Our Fiore Mama Bodywork and Yoga are great practices to help you relax and prepare for labor and delivery, but not every yoga pose or acupressure point is appropriate during pregnancy. We offer prenatal yoga classes specifically designed to keep you and your baby safe and healthy during your pregnancy and Rachael is qualified to massage from the first stages of pregnancy through to postpartum, including the first trimester. Our bodywork is preformed side-lying as opposed to a pregnancy pillow system or trap-door table, this decision is based on current research and is advised by Pregnancy Massage Australia, our training body.
Can I bring my children to my massage/yoga class?
All modalities at Fiore Body are open to ages 16+ but are not specifically geared towards children. You are welcome to bring Babes-in-arms and Breastfeeding Children to any of our bookings, we can accommodate prams/capsules in our clinic room. Toddlers and Primary School aged children are welcome during massages, but please provide toys and snacks to keep them occupied. During business hours older children are welcomed to wait in the waiting room. If you have a question about your child participating in a class or event, please Contact Us.
Is Fiore Body just for Women?
Our focus is defiantly on Women's Wellness, however we welcome partners of every gender to our both our yoga and Childbirth ed classes. As far as our bodywork is concerned, we will massage males referred to us by existing clients only. We ask that you respect our decision.
