Come along to my first Fiore Yoga - Body Positive Yoga Flow session!
If you've always wanted to try yoga and have been too shy, intimidated or just freaked out by all the super bendy pretzel yogi's (no offence to all the super bendy pretzel yogi's - you rock 👊), I have space on the mat for you.
I'm taking a Body Positive approach to Hatha/Yin Yoga and as a big chick myself, having undergone 8 years of a love/hate relationship with my practice, I'm sharing my journey and trying to make yoga accessible for every woman, regardless of size, age, body issues and limitations. Now, I am a TRAINEE YOGA TEACHER (485 hrs), so please be aware that I'm just as nervous as you, so together we can explore yoga together.
I've got space for 6 people and I'm supplying ALL the props, (Mat, mat towel, blocks(2), bolsters (2), belts (2), neck and eye pillow, yoga prop blankets (2) and yoga nidra blanket) and we'll share a cuppa after the session. Sessions are 75 minutes in length to allow for everyone and me to really "get" each pose and flow.
And while I'm training the cost is via donation - you can just pay what you feel or what you can - because I'm not insured while I train, there'll be a waiver for you to sign. But even when I get the shiny qualifications, I plan on making sessions financially accessible for everyone, with concessions and sliding scales for financial hardship just like Fiore Massage does.

WHAT TO BRING?
Just your water bottle, but there'll be water and glasses available. Oh, and a smile! I'm developing a consent form which you can print out and bring with you or fill out before the first session.
(Although classes specifically for pregnancy are still to come, if you're pregnant or actively trying to fall pregnant you are welcome, we just need to modify a few poses, so please let me know before the session)
